Due to the huge number of requests sent to the server it crashed and it took us a while to get EYE97 back up. Its all up and running now and we have limited requests until further notice.

EYE97 connectivity is down due to a Fiber cut in the area and will come back on as soon as possible. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We are also having some hardware issues and hope to have this resolved in a few hours.

On Saturday, June 27, Our Data Center that hosts EYE97 will be performing critical power,network, and facilities maintenance at the Ashburn location.
During this window, the DC will be upgrading the core network by
turning up a new Cisco 6509 core router and new access switches.
Works starts: Saturday, June 27, 11:00PM (23:00) EST
Finish: Sunday June 28, 3:00AM (03:00) EST
They are also relocating the equipment to a different portion of the facility to ensure that the ever increasing power, bandwidth and cooling needs continue to be met.
As part of the work it is necessary that all of the servers in be powered down while work is being performed.
Mamimum downtime up to 4 hours but we expect it to be down for a lot less than that.

Hello Listeners, As you may know EYE97 webserver had a major hard disk crash and we have managed to recover everything finally. The site is fully back up. However we have a brand new web design planned and it will be unveiled by early next week. We think you are going to love it and it will be a lot easier to navigate. In an effort to decrease load times, EYE97 has implemented AJAX. As a result listener count and playlists are now updated dynamicly.
What this means is a more accurate and up to the minute updates, without the need for an entire page refresh.
